SURFING IN MONTALIVET

Montalivet boasts an extensive beach from where you can access various beach breaks. Throughout the year, the surf is highly consistent. Due to its westward orientation, the spot receives a considerable number of waves. These break over different sandbanks, ensuring there are always waves suitable for both beginners and advanced surfers. Fun guaranteed!

SURF LESSONS

Both beginners and more advanced surfers can experience the perfect surf vacation in Montalivet! If you want surf lessons, please indicate this during the booking process as we schedule the hours and surf coaches in advance.

Our certified surf coaches teach at every level, and with personal feedback, you can be sure that your surf skills will significantly improve! Moreover, you can make double the progress in one week by opting for the intensive series of 5 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours.

For all children aged 4 to 8, a surf initiation is planned. These initiation lessons will take place under the watchful eye of the parents so that everyone can enjoy these first surf lessons with peace of mind. This also provides you with the necessary information to continue working with your child for the rest of the week.

Note: For surf lessons, we do not make exceptions to the minimum age of 8, regardless of parental consent, diplomas, background, or skills. This ensures clarity for all participants and on-site crew. See Admission Requirements.

SURF INITIATION & INTERMEDIATE SURF LESSONS

Surf Initiation for 4 to 8-Year-Olds For all children between 4 and 8 years old, a free surf initiation is planned. These lessons will take place under the watchful eye of the parents so that everyone can enjoy these first surf lessons with peace of mind. Additionally, you will receive the necessary information to continue working with your child for the rest of the week.

Intermediate Surf Lessons These 'intermediate' lessons are specifically designed for those who have outgrown the foam waves and are ready to take their skills to the next level. The pop-up and take-off hold no secrets for you, and we teach how to ride unbroken waves with the necessary turns.

These lessons are for everyone (from 13 years old) who has mastered the basics and take place at specific times (on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday, possibly early in the morning or late in the evening). If you choose this option, please note that we cannot accommodate other activities or services (such as surf lessons, children's animation, workouts) or preferences (such as surfing with friends, family, or peers).

SURF EQUIPMENT

Whether you take lessons or not, all our surf equipment is available throughout the week. Suitable surfboards and wetsuits are also available for young children. We only work with the best equipment!

You have a choice from a very extensive range of shortboards, mini-malibus, and softboards. Wetsuits and rash guards are provided by O'Neill, the ultimate surf brand.

Additionally, there are bodyboards available, and at the camp, you'll find indo boards and a slackline to refine your technique on dry land. If you bring your own board, you can leave it in our secure space at the camp.
